Donovan Turnmire
Married to Elizabeth, dad to Brooks
Donovan and Elizabeth met at Western Carolina University as students in 2006 and were married in August of 2011. They moved to Maiden, NC, where Donovan served as a youth pastor for seven years. During that time he received his Master of Divinity from Gardner-Webb University, and their son Brooks was born in August of 2018. God began to stir a desire for church planting in Donovan's heart, so they both began to pray about all that would entail. They moved to Cullowhee, North Carolina, where Donovan served at The Bridge Church as College and Discipleship Pastor. Over the next few years the Lord kept speaking to Donovan about planting while he wrestled with what was next for their family. Through college services and visits from church planters, it became clear that it was time: time to take a team to Conway, SC and plant Fountain Church, ready to make disciples. Donovan and Elizabeth have been shaped by discipleship themselves and have seen its impact in the church firsthand. Along with their team, they want to use that experience to make and grow disciples in one of the fastest growing places in the country.
