We Discover the Source
Our goal is to help others discover and understand who God is and what it means to be known by Him.
A name from the Psalms, a city that will not stop growing, and a team convinced that Jesus is the source of everything.
From the Psalms
“For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.”
Psalm 36:9
“Singers and dancers alike say, 'All my springs are in you.'”
Psalm 87:7
Natural fountains are found all over the world, places where pressurized water rises up through the ground on its own. A fountain is not a man-made source of water. It flows from an unending source. As the church, we know that Jesus Christ is the source of everything we are and everything we have, and we want to share that with the people around us. We exist to help our friends, neighbors, and community discover all that Jesus has to offer them, to understand who God made them to be, and to see how His Spirit can flow through them as they live for Him.
Our City and Our Need
The coastline of South Carolina is one of the fastest growing places in the country, and Conway sits right at the heart of it. People are moving here from all over the United States to study, work, retire, and start over. That is a mission field.
Horry County has become a melting pot in the last ten years. From the university to Myrtle Beach, a transient culture brings together many ages, cultures, and religious backgrounds. Many arrive without a church home or a real Gospel conversation in their past. The need for solid relationships and honest conversations about Jesus is enormous.
At Fountain Church:
Our goal is to help others discover and understand who God is and what it means to be known by Him.
We want to learn to fully rely on and operate in complete dependency on Christ to satisfy our needs.
As we grow in our relationship with God, we learn to give ourselves entirely to loving others and sharing the Gospel for God's glory.
How will we do it?
The gathering exists to draw our hearts to God's grace in the Gospel through worship, preaching, and serving.
We group together in community for discipleship by connecting relationally around God's Word and prayer.
We give our first and best as a means of trusting Jesus as our deepest desire and leveraging our treasure for Kingdom impact.
Choosing to go on mission in our neighborhoods and around the world is key to making disciples of every tribe, tongue, and nation.
